Using the clutch button makes the hat switch on the joystick switch between them. This should happen automatically with Windows update but third-party hardware and specific gaming systems dont always update automatically. You can test your buttons and axes here, and adjust the time readout and LED brightness and color. I'm running Windows 10 and have attempted to run the program in compatibility mode with no change in the behavior. Once installed, you’ll see a Saitek icon in your taskbar, next to the clock. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, and as far as I can tell I'm running the latest version of the software. The MFD profiles chosen from are the same ones that pressing the up and down buttons on the MFD normally switches, not the silver wheel-switch button profiles. I'm using an X52 Pro and have downloaded the button mapping software but the program will only open in a relatively small window, which makes attempting to map/update the functions/buttons on the hardware difficult, if not impossible. Does it have something to do with the silver wheel on the lower left side of the throttle?It's essentially useless if you're not using their software, it's kind of weird but lets you 'switch between MFD profiles on the fly', since the profiles don't 'do anything' without their software, then.shrug. The clutch mode setting is on the 'MFD' page. You can get to the properties from 'Devices and Printers' and right clicking on the joystick device and choosing 'game controller settings' then 'properties'. Oh, I have a dual boot setup with Win10 and Linux Mint.Over all still my favorate control system.There's a setting in the driver properties for clutched mode, which uses one of those buttons, make sure that it's set to non-clutched mode, and it'll allow you to use all 3 of those green buttons that are on the throttle. Is Alaska covered by 10? And what about freeware versus payware available packs? Are there many freeware developers for X-Plane? My main interest is the Alaska, Canada region. v10 is 2011 so I'm sure it will be ok.Ħ-years from 10 to 11 so I guess that's when the huge leap really happened? so I'd probably end up trying 10 and maybe buy an old copy of it. The images are breathtaking and I'd say it runs smooth but if when panning on the VC I notice the weight of the sim on my system. This past weekend I installed the X-Plane 9 demo (I started with that one because of its release date) and it was a breeze! Then I tried v12 but immediately got a warning about my card so stepped down one noth: X-Plane 11 runs nicely, I guess. My PC is now an old friend from 2014 but with a little help from another ol'graphics card it can run FS9 maxed out at above 60fps. I always wanted to try X-Plane but never really had the PC for that, then stepped away from FS for a few years.
